About The Position

Come join Team Atlantis! As a Cook at Toucan Charlie's Buffet within the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes will contribute to the success of our renowned buffet restaurant.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a buffet or high-volume restaurant setting.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots, pans, and trays.
Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
Must adhere to all appearance standards, including but not limited to no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair and nail colors.

Nice To Haves

Culinary degree or relevant culinary certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepares dishes in an efficient manner in accordance to recipes and standards.
Prepare food items while adhering to health department regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Know food and safety sanitation standards.
Follow Atlantis Policies and Procedures.
Produce a consistent and quality product.
Other assignments as assigned my management.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
