Take your next step and support us as a CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY ENGINEER. DESCRIPTION Technical Oversight: Verify that equipment installation matches layout drawings, engineering specs, and plant standards.​ Conveyor Coordination: Act as the subject matter expert for conveyor assembly and site preparation, ensuring smooth transitions between paint and assembly shops.​ Installation Verification: Conduct inspections for mechanical alignment, anchoring, and component torquing.​ Utilities Coordination: Ensure the facility is "plug-in ready" (power, air, data) before equipment arrival.​ Field Engineering: Provide real-time solutions for field modifications when site conditions differ from original designs.

Requirements

  • Automotive design engineer, Industrial engineer, Mechanical engineer or related​ field of study.
  • Industry Experience: Extensive background in Automotive Final Assembly and conveyor technology.​
  • Project Skills: High proficiency in coordination and controlling multiple activities in a high-pressure construction environment.​
  • Software: Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, and Confluence for tracking progress.​
  • Availability: Must be able to support daily on-site presence in Blythewood, SC, including approved weekend work.
  • English B2-C1
