About The Position

The Conversion Tracking & Analytics Specialist plays an important role in ensuring clients are generating a positive return on investment from their digital marketing efforts. You’ll support the planning, execution, and troubleshooting of analytics and conversion tracking implementations, working closely with our internal teams to improve performance and drive meaningful results. You’ll learn how to run and scale business intelligence programs, dive into conversion and attribution data, and help identify opportunities to improve marketing performance. This role is built for someone eager to grow their business intelligence skill set, gain hands-on experience across industries, and contribute to measurable client growth.

Requirements

  • You know how to blend data analysis and problem-solving to test and deploy resilient conversion tracking
  • You’re curious, analytical, and love problem-solving.
  • You’re comfortable with platforms like Google Tag Manager, GA4, and digital ad platforms
  • You’re organized, communicative, and process-driven — you don’t just want to set up tags; you’re also comfortable explaining how they work
  • You’re collaborative and thrive in cross-functional environments.
  • You’re comfortable working with snippets of code within a CMS like WordPress or Shopify
  • You understand online attribution and why different platforms may show different results for the same action

Nice To Haves

  • You’ve got digital marketing experience (agency or in-house)
  • You’re comfortable with basic JavaScript and Chrome developer tools
  • Familiarity with Looker Studio

Responsibilities

  • Independently plan, execute, and troubleshoot conversion tracking setups using Google Tag Manager for a diverse portfolio of clients, as well as Google Analytics 4 implementations. This includes auditing existing setups during onboarding, as well as handling ad hoc tickets and troubleshooting when unexpected tracking issues arise. (50%)
  • Work alongside Growth Managers, Developers, and your BI team to communicate and information about tag implementations and analytics opportunities. You’ll use tools like Asana, Slack, and Google Meet to communicate, align priorities, and share updates across departments. (20%)
  • Partner with Growth Managers to prepare insights, share tag implementation updates, and contribute ideas during client calls. You’ll develop confidence in sharing findings and opportunities. (15%)
  • Assist in identifying areas where clients can grow conversions or reduce costs with more advanced analytics implementations. Collaborate with your team to propose new ideas that can support client growth. (10%)
  • Actively build your analytics and business intelligence expertise through training, mentorship, and experimentation. You’ll gain hands-on experience with analytics tools, scripts, and data warehouse platforms while learning how to think strategically about analytics. (5%)
