About The Position

The Manager of Convention Network Services is responsible for directing IT support for customer service during events, ensuring that service requests and incidents are addressed promptly to minimize downtime and productivity loss. This role involves leading a technical support team, managing performance metrics, and collaborating with key business leaders to deliver high-quality service in accordance with established company practices and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience of management experience in Information Technology or similar role required

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and leads technical support team, demonstrating strong management and leadership skills and competencies
  • Manages key performance indicators identifying appropriate metrics and manage performance to agreed-upon service levels
  • Executing on company and property IT strategy as established by company, property, and COE leadership
  • Manages on-site team members, including but not limited to building a strong cohesive team at the property-level, developing and mentoring leads and senior technical support team; establishing schedules and workloads, and projects; and performance management
  • Manages service orders appropriately to deliver committed levels of customer service
  • Establishes rapport with key business leaders to collaborate and influence demonstrating ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
  • Implements and reinforces Company business practices
  • Demonstrates solid operational skills and the ability to effectively manage and ensure productivity
