About The Position

This Convenience Store Manager position is for a location operated by Convenience Stores Inc, a subsidiary of Jones Petroleum. The company is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated individual to manage, direct, and supervise the daily operations of the assigned location. The role involves providing pleasant and courteous service to customers in line with Company goals, policies, and procedures. This position demands a high degree of initiative, attention to detail, advanced problem-solving, supervisory, and communication skills, along with the ability to project a courteous and friendly Company image. The C-Store Manager will be responsible for following and enforcing job descriptions for CSR, Lead CSR, and Shift Leader/Keyholder roles. Key duties include customer service, merchandising, foodservice, operations, employee staffing, development, employee relations, and ensuring store profitability. The manager is also expected to foster a positive store culture by treating employees fairly and with respect.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous people management experience
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be dependable
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining total customer focus
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction
  • Good communication skills
  • Good personal grooming habits
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours during a shift
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and climb a ladder on occasion
  • Requires motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
