About The Position

The Convenience Pay Clerk primarily supports the operations of the Credit Union through the maintenance of the Convenience Pay Program. Other duties include, but are not limited to, face-to-face member interaction, vendor approval and assistance, and mail (internal and external) processing. Additional duties may be assigned as determined by management. The work station is located at the Main branch's front desk.

Requirements

  • Two year college degree, or completion of specialized courses of study at a business or trade school, or completion of specialized in-house training or apprenticeship OR One to three years relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software.
  • Comfortable, once adequately trained, interacting with members concerning their needs and/or actions needed by them.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Convenience Pay system/accounts - 60%
  • Duties related to receiving and distributing mail - 20%
  • Member/Vendor assistance - 20%
  • Other duties as assigned
