About The Position
The Central Testing Utility (CTU) 1B function conducts testing activities on behalf of Technology & Operations (T&O) within the 1st Line of Defense. This team provides an opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment alongside experts from diverse technical and business backgrounds. The Technology team is responsible for performing controls testing (Design & Operating Effectiveness) across key IT domains, including Governance, Security, Service Delivery, Service Support, and Application & Infrastructure Development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT Controls Testing , specifically in: Project / Program Management SDLC (Agile & Waterfall) IT Operations / Computer Operations
- Strong understanding of: IT risk and control frameworks Technology environments and processes
- Experience with test execution, documentation, and reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Proven ability to work independently and in team environments
Nice To Haves
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP
- Experience within large financial institutions or regulated environments
Responsibilities
- Execute IT internal controls testing aligned to the organization’s Technology PRC framework
- Perform test planning, execution, and documentation across: Project / Program Management SDLC (Agile & Waterfall) Computer Operations
- Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls
- Prepare detailed test documentation and reports for quality assurance review
- Identify, analyze, and document control gaps, risks, and root causes
- Support issue analysis and risk assessments , including impact evaluation
- Monitor and identify emerging risks and trends to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Technology and the business
- Promote adherence to internal standards and industry best practices
- Present findings and insights to senior management and stakeholders
