About The Position
We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Shop Tester in our Pewaukee, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by L2150.Job SummaryTo provide an adequate supply of accurately tested and calibrated electric revenue meters. To ensure the integrity of the protective rubber goods exchange program.
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse and pallet moving experience is preferred
- Item Stocking/Separating is preferred
- Assembly line experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Test and clean single phase as well as polyphase electric meters and protective rubber goods including gloves, sleeves, and cover-up materials
- Use computers with bar code scanners to log in meter ID, operation and configuration of various automated test systems
- Keyboard entry of meter register readings to databases
- Radio transmission testing of AMI meters
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to defective meters
- Preparation of tested material for distribution, warehouse support of meter inventory
- Other miscellaneous duties as required or assigned
