Requirements

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering practices within a JIT manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage equipment installations, preventative maintenance, and operational improvements.
  • Proven problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills with the ability to execute action plans.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing or engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead facility design projects including equipment selection, ordering, installation, and completion within schedule and budget.
  • Evaluate current equipment and recommend upgrades or capital improvements to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Support production from a technical standpoint, including troubleshooting operations and conducting time studies to meet business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, TPM, and Kaizen while ensuring safe operations.
  • Execute monthly and annual business plans, aligning daily controls and action items with key performance metrics (downtime, cost reduction, efficiency).
