About The Position

As a member of our talented Controls Team, you will support automation, data, and control processes across our manufacturing operations. This role works closely with managers, supervisors, technicians, planners, and production employees on the plant floor while also managing assigned projects from start to finish. Daily tasks may include troubleshooting machines or robots, writing SOPs, supporting preventive/predictive maintenance, working in various software environments, and creating or troubleshooting data collection processes. This role requires continuous learning, adaptability, and a drive to improve processes in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electro‑Mechanical Technology, Automated Manufacturing Systems, or equivalent (or in progress)
  • Competency in PLC programming, specifically Allen‑Bradley
  • Understanding of industrial network infrastructures (e.g., Ethernet)
  • Ability to read and interpret controls prints and create/modify prints using AutoCAD
  • General knowledge of manufacturing tooling and equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Experience with technologies such as RFID, vision systems, and robotics

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting automation and controls issues
  • Participate in internal teams to develop, maintain, and continuously improve factory automation
  • Influence, support, and implement new factory automation equipment
  • Create and update maintenance SOPs for repair and diagnostic procedures
  • Support controls and software solutions for manufacturing work cells
  • Contribute to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives
