About The Position

We’re hiring a Controls Engineer to support the design, programming, and optimization of control systems for converting, slitting, and rewinding equipment. This role focuses on automation, system reliability, and continuous improvement of industrial machinery.

Requirements

• Experience as a Controls Engineer or Automation Engineer in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial control systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings
• Experience supporting production equipment and troubleshooting in real time
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC- and HMI-based control systems
• Support control system integration for converting, slitting, and rewinding equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation issues on production machinery
• Assist with system upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installations
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to improve performance
• Document control logic, system changes, and technical procedures
