The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $53,000 -$113,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Do In This Role: Participate in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software. Apply PLC code for semi-complex systems using standard practices. Provide support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up. Propose ideas aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer happiness. Independently run semi-complex projects through the project life cycle, including all design, documentation, and forecasting. Assist in complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design. Troubleshoot programming and electrical issues that arise on site. Interact directly with the customer on site. What We Are Looking For: Current hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers. Expertise with Allen Bradley, Schneider Unity, or Siemens TIA Portal preferred. Demonstrated working understanding of design, layout, and use of current networks such as Profibus, ASi, and Ethernet. Experience in writing descriptions of operations and developments of controls based physical layouts is encouraged. Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical preferred. Proven ability to manage numerous opportunities and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Current experience with the rigors of on-site startup/commissioning. Experience with material handling systems is helpful. 4-8 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree, where applicable. Requirements
