Job Purpose The Controls Engineer is an exempt, professional engineering role responsible for the design, programming, integration, and continuous improvement of complex automation and control systems that support Food & Beverage manufacturing operations. The position applies advanced knowledge of electrical engineering, industrial controls, and automation to develop control strategies, optimize system performance, and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. The Controls Engineer exercises independent judgment in planning and executing automation projects, establishing technical standards, and resolving high-level control system issues that impact plant performance, quality, and safety.
