Our client, a project-based automation company, is seeking a passionate, team-oriented Controls Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll take ownership of programming, debugging, commissioning, and electrical hardware design across a range of automation technologies including PLCs, robotics, vision controllers, and VFDs. Because their Texas office operates with a smaller team, you’ll enjoy more exposure to different projects and systems, which is one of the reasons their team tends to stay for the long haul. Majority of their engineers have been with them for over 5 years. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, collaboration, and continuous learning rather than routine. If you’re looking for a workplace that values culture, work/life balance, and innovation, this could be a perfect match. You’ll join a company where you’ll look forward to coming to work, surrounded by people who care about what they do and who they do it with. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to shape your career around the areas that excite you most. Important note: After your first few months of training, you will have work-from-home flexibility.
