About The Position

Controls Engineer Technical Lead wanted by Eagle Creek RE Management, LLC in Badin, NC. Lead the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new control systems or the refurbishment of existing systems. Troubleshoot issues with existing systems to root-cause and work with operators in the field to optimize existing equipment. Analyze data from existing operations to design and optimize control systems. Implement standard SCADA systems across the fleet and maintain support of these systems for data gathering and analysis. Prepare specifications and other engineering documents to procure and install a wide variety of hydro-electric equipment and systems. Provide operations & maintenance recommendations for hydro-electric systems. Manage project implementation . Up to 30% travel for project supervision and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation.
• Must have 5 years of CAD experience in electrical drawings including single-line diagram, schematics, block, and wiring among electrical industry standards, such as IEEE, ANSI, NEC, IEC, and ISO.
• Must have 5 years of experience in panel building and wiring, including testing (debug), installation and commissioning of electrical equipment in different systems.
• Must have 5 years of industrial automation experience, including PLC’s and HMI’s, controls networks, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and EtherNet.
• Any required experience may have been gained concurrently.
