About The Position

Client is targeting a 3rd shift (11pm-7am) Controls Engineer supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians as well as troubleshooting all automated systems in the manufacturing plant. Alongside controls work, will be managing a shifts of 4-5 direct reports. Will be troubleshooting in Rockwell/Allen Bradley systems. Equipment includes Fanuc robots, slitter lines, laser cutters, presses, and overhead cranes. The candidate for this position will be proficient in modifying/troubleshooting Ladder Logic and has strong interpersonal/leadership skills. - Participate in team meetings to collect, analyze, and act on issues that come up on the floor. - Direct workers engaged in all types of repairs - Develop a strong knowledge of company equipment and programs - Troubleshoot and program automated machine cells - Be involved in continuous improvement projects
