The industries we support include aerospace & defense, medical, steel, nuclear, automotive, and research & development. About this opening: The Automation Controls Specialist will be responsible for their assigned projects from receipt of order until completion of installation. This role will include but is not limited to: electrical design, pneumatic design, programming, testing and installation. Duties: The programming will consist of but is not limited to: PLCs, HMIs, Robots, VFDs, Servo drives and vision systems. Individual will be required to perform field service on previously installed equipment as well as equipment installed by other manufacturers.

Requirements

Proficient in PLC and/or robot programming languages
Excellent analytical skills to be applied in the design, programming and troubleshooting of automated equipment
2+ years of automation experience
PLC and HMI programming experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a team player
Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must be a U.S. Citizen

AutoCAD experience
AutoCAD Electrical 2009 and up
Motoman, Fanuc, or ABB robot programming
Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Toyopuc, Omron, and/or Mitsubishi PLC programming
Industrial I/O network configuration
Cognex and/or Keyence vision system programming
