Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician | 1st Shift
About The Position
This position is for a Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician on the 1st Shift, working an alternative work schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining various industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotic systems. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical components, supporting automation upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and FDA standards. Requirements
- 2+ years in industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems.
- PLC programming/troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Experience with instrumentation, schematics, and motion control.
- Strong safety focus and teamwork mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Beckhoff, Fanuc, or vision systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotic systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Support automation upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with safety and FDA standards.
