About The Position

Are you an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller looking for the next step in your career in the Logistics Industry-this could be for you! Summary: Ensure accurate financial closings and statements, manage and optimize cash flow, and oversee all payments (accounts payable and deposits). Responsibilities include preparing payroll journals, managing the general ledger, handling contractor payments, managing Wheaton Van Line settlements, maintaining the Move Ware operating system related to accounting functions, and troubleshooting issues. Oversee budgets and year-end tasks like depreciation schedules and state tax filings. Ensure compliance with GAAP and risk management, maximizing profits and mitigating risks. Provide financial reports to senior managers to improve operational efficiency and support growth.
