  • Record monthly accounting entries for the general ledger as well as prepare all balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Establish (in coordination with management) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets and forecasts, program monitoring, and financial reporting on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Ensure compliance of accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all brands and all functions – accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, capital assets and sales tax.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
  • Serves as a lead liaison for accounting and finances teams during new business acquisitions.
  • Skilled in data analysis and using financial data to drive results.
  • Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting.
  • A combination of deep financial acumen and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Proficient with financial software and tools and demonstrates technology courage.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager.
  • Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CMA (certified management accountant) is a plus.
