About The Position

The position involves conducting financial analysis and managing financial controlling processes and resources for the assigned operating unit, department, or team. The role is crucial in providing accurate financial information to support management in achieving objectives related to efficiency, cost control, and profitability. The individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial and corporate guidelines and policies.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial controlling processes and internal control systems.
  • Ability to design and manage budget processes and financial planning systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, and laws related to financial reporting and control.
  • Experience in translating data into management information for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares financial analysis, reports, and budget forecasts, assisting in the company’s monthly and yearly closing.
  • Reviews financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data.
  • Contributes to the design and management of the budget/control process and the development of the year plan/budget and/or strategy for the operating unit/department/team.
  • Ensures the development, implementation, and use of an effective system for financial-economical planning and control.
  • Prevents inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting.
  • Selects, develops, and assesses the suitability of controlling standards, processes, formats, and frequency of financial controlling and information collection, collation, and reporting for senior management.
  • Responds to management queries in relation to the financial control environment.
  • Validates and provides insight into the reasons for gaps between achievements and budget forecasts.
  • Recommends corrective measures.
