About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on, "turnkey" Controller who can step in and confidently run the day-to-day accounting function with minimal oversight. This individual will be accountable for the integrity of our financial data, and will serve as the primary point of contact for audits and tax cycles. This is not a passive reporting role; this is an operator who understands the numbers, owns the details, and ensures everything ties out. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong foundational accounting knowledge (debits/credits, accruals, reconciliations)
  • Experience owning or heavily supporting financial statements
  • Proven experience supporting audits and tax filings as a lead contributor

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in public accounting (audit) strongly preferred
  • CPA license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial data
  • Prepare and post journal entries; manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax professionals; provide requested documentation
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting
  • Maintain and manage the accounting platform environment
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
