About The Position

ACRC is seeking a Controller at the Sacramento office. The purpose of the Controller is to provide accurate and timely financial information about ACRC that will assist Management in making key decisions. In addition, this role bills and collects reimbursements and funding for services to ensure ACRC’s solvency and ultimate ability to provide services to Clients. Specifically, this role: Manages and monitors key accounting activities, including the processing of payroll, Accounts Payable for Operations (OPS), and Accounts Receivable; oversees the day-to-day banking activities and financial reporting; conducts trainings and presentations on relevant financial changes and compliance matters; Monitors liquidity and budget projections; assists the Purchase of Service (POS) accounting and fiscal audit function for accuracy of client authorizations, purchase orders and payments to providers; assists program functions in applicable financial implementation resulting from new directives or changes in regulations.

Requirements

  • Applicants must possess: a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field
  • Five years of experience in accounting, including a minimum of one year of accounting staff oversight
  • The ability to focus on detail for lengthy periods with a high degree of accuracy
  • The ability to read, interpret, and implement regulations with consistency
  • A valid California Driver’s License and current California automobile liability insurance
