Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ in a management capacity.
Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and ERP systems (experience with Plex , EPICOR, or other integrated platforms a plus).
Manufacturing experience.
Confident communicator and hands-on leader — able to motivate teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice To Haves

Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead the general accounting function, including cost accounting, cash management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP to safeguard company assets.
Drive budgeting and financial analysis across departments, helping management make sound, data-driven decisions.
Manage monthly and year-end close processes, audits, and government reporting.
Partner closely with operations and cost accounting to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting.
Supervise and mentor a small accounting team (GL, AP, and Cost Accountant).
Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
