About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with an organization in Earth City, Missouri to hire a Controller. This role serves as the senior accounting leader responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and scalability of the company’s financial operations. The Controller oversees General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable while optimizing financial processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Active CPA license
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility
• Experience managing GL, financial close, AP, and AR functions
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, and internal controls

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close ensuring accurate, GAAP-compliant reporting
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting policies
• Oversee AP and AR operations including billing, cash application, and vendor payments
• Monitor and improve working capital metrics such as DSO, DPO, and cash conversion cycle
• Serve as the accounting lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, optimizing system usage, workflows, and reporting
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness
• Support process improvements and scalable accounting operations as the company grows
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting, AP, and AR teams
• Partner cross-functionally with leadership, finance, operations, and IT
