Nature United is an affiliate of the global organization The Nature Conservancy (TNC). The Controller is a key member of Nature United’s Finance & Operations team and will be responsible for the oversight and execution of all accounting activities. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the role is focused on the management, maintenance and reporting of financial data and monitoring of internal controls and processes to ensure compliance with policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices. The successful candidate will bring not only strong technical and problem-solving abilities but also strong collaboration and communication skills. The Controller will have support from within the department, centralized services from our global affiliate, as well as external collaborators. Are you looking for work you can believe in? We’re looking for someone with excellent technical accounting, analytical and communication skills, and experience in leading continuous improvement projects. You will work closely with others in the Finance department as well as more broadly supporting all staff across the organization to advance our strategic priorities and reimagine conservation in Canada.
