Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, and 5-10 years of related experience and/or training, some of which are from a public accounting firm.
Computer skills required: Accounting Software; Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite; Payroll Systems
Other skills required: Average to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoin

Certificates, licenses and registrations preferred: CPA

Responsibilities

Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
Oversee financial accounting, reporting, tax compliance, investment, and fund accounting functions
Support business leadership by providing financial analysis, enterprise reporting, and insights to inform decision-making
Assist in developing and executing capital plans aligned with organizational goals
Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements
Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations
Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
