About The Position
Controller – Alpharetta, GA (100M Company) Who: A growing $100M organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations, develop a strong team, and bring structure to a scaling environment. What: This role owns the accounting function end-to-end—ensuring timely and accurate financials , while mentoring and developing a high-performing team. This is a true roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role . Where: Alpharetta, GA (flexibility depending on candidate) Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: Up to $160,000 Bonus: Up to 30% 3 Weeks Vacation Medical, Dental, Vision (MDV) 401(k) with 5% Company Match Strong long-term growth opportunity
Requirements
- Proven Controller or strong Accounting Manager ready to step up
- Experience in a $50M–$200M company environment
- Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct
- Strong leadership and team development mindset
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
- Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis
- Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Supervise, train, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Drive process improvements and scalable accounting workflows
- Own and optimize Sage Intacct ERP
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls
- Partner with leadership to support business decision-making
