About Us We are a rapidly growing, multi-state brand in the dynamic hemp and cannabis industries, managing over 10 complex operating legal entities and 4 distinct omni-channel brands. With a presence spanning several US states. We are committed to product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is highly preferred or required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Required Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience as a power user, administrator, or implementation lead for the Acumatica ERP system.
  • Strong familiarity with complex multi-entity, multi-brand consolidation and reporting.
  • Experience in high-growth, highly regulated industries (e.g., hemp/cannabis, CPG, manufacturing) is highly valued.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and data modeling (Advanced Excel capabilities are essential).
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and best practices for internal controls.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full optimization and administration of the Acumatica ERP system, driving automation and process improvement across all financial workflows to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
  • Identify, design, and implement scalable, standardized accounting processes across all entities and brands to support rapid, compliant growth.
  • Significantly reduce the time required for the monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
  • Responsible for the preparation and issuance of accurate, timely, and compliant consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all entities and brands.
  • Oversee general ledger accounting, fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual external financial audit, serving as the primary liaison.
  • Oversee and develop the accounting staff (including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions).
  • Develop, implement, and rigorously monitor a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure strict compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and all federal/state financial reporting requirements specific to the hemp/cannabis sector.
