Your Next Big Opportunity: As our Controller in Lawrenceville, GA, you will lead our financial operations, guiding a talented team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. You will also work closely with senior management to establish, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, procedures, and policies that support our expanding business.

Requirements

  • A seasoned finance professional with a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of comprehensive financial experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proficient with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar; advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Experienced in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, develop, and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly to senior leadership.
  • Skilled in system implementation, process improvement, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and financial reporting tools such as Power BI, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated finance team of 3-5, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job costing, cash management, and treasury activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage cash flow to keep the business agile and prepared for new opportunities.
  • Strengthen vendor relationships through timely payments and discounts and ensure prompt collection of receivables.
  • Drive monthly financial reporting, including job costing, AR aging, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements—delivering clear insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Support the President and CFO with budgeting, asset management, and financial planning.
  • Play a key role in annual audits, insurance renewals, and ensuring compliance across all financial and asset management activities.
  • Develop and implement effective financial controls and policies, continuously improving workflows and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes across the organization and support ongoing growth initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Support HR in payroll administration, 401(k) management, and other employee-related projects.
