The Controller is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial functions and strategy of the organization, ensuring overall financial health.

Prepare financial reports and maintain accounting records.
Manage budgets, review quarterly and annual budgets, and help set company budgets.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax compliance issues.
Provide comprehensive financial updates to Leadership.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.

Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
Hire, train, evaluate, develop accounting team.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures, State & Federal law, and accrediting agency regulations and standards.

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred.
Five or more years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, banking processes and financial data analysis.
Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting.
Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes.
Exemplary history of financial project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong relationship building skills.
Ability to listen well and offer solutions.
Results driven with a proven track-record of meeting and exceeding defined goals.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
