Mobius has an immediate requirement for a Controller to support our Corporate office in Alexandria, VA (hybrid, onsite 1 day a week). This position will play a vital role on the finance team and is accountable for the accounting operations of Mobius and its Joint Venture operation. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. The controller is also responsible for enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Duties include directing and managing the accounting department, compiling financial reports based on financial statements, and implementing and/or maintaining policies and procedures for financial reporting.
