About The Position
Established in 1987 in Greeley, Colorado, Front Range Roofing Systems has mastered all facets of industrial and commercial roofing from new construction to recover projects. Our experienced technicians will guide you through the complexities of commercial roof repair, maintenance, tenant finishes, flat roof repair, new construction projects, and more. As a Controller, you will be responsible for the hands-on management of all aspects of the accounting function of the organization. This includes ensuring credibility by providing timely and accurate financial reporting, account analysis, and account reconciliations, along with other management reports on a timely basis. You will develop, implement, and manage a system of accounting policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives. In this role, you will provide thorough analysis of business performance to accompany results and reports, implementing a full suite of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track performance on the highest priority initiatives. You will ensure proper cost allocation models are developed and maintained throughout the organization, identifying areas for efficiency improvement and dedicating attention to the highest impact opportunities. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and payroll functions, as well as recording transactions, adjusting entries, and tracking jobs in progress using the percentage of completion method. Additionally, you will constantly maintain cash flow projections and oversee cash management, including customer communications and collections. It is essential to maintain a system of internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. You will safeguard corporate assets and ensure that reporting systems accurately capture all financial data. As a Controller, you will supervise and review the work of others, ensuring that the accounting team operates efficiently and effectively.
