About The Position

Dorsia is redefining the future of hospitality. As a membership-based platform offering access to the world’s most sought-after restaurants, Dorsia combines premium dining with data-driven technology to optimize revenue for venues and experiences for members. With revenue scaling from $3M to $30M in under a year and a recent Series A at a $146M valuation, Dorsia is now building the infrastructure for its next phase of hypergrowth. Reporting directly to the SVP of Finance, the Controller will design and lead our accounting infrastructure—closing the books, strengthening internal controls, forecasting our runway, and enabling strategy with clean, timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and financial skills, a deep business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting/finance roles; startup, growth-stage, PE/VC experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA required; MBA a plus
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and audit processes
  • Experience building and scaling financial and accounting operations, with a focus on process optimization and automation
  • Exceptional Excel/financial modeling skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability and willingness to execute and build from the ground up, with a 'no task too small' mindset
  • Fluency in accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, etc.)
  • Experience in Brex, Carta, Looker (BI), Bill.com, Justworks

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle accounting operations: AR/AP, GL, payroll, revenue recognition, and monthly close
  • Build and enforce financial policies and GAAP-aligned internal controls to support scale
  • Produce and maintain accurate financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling; deliver financial models and scenario planning
  • Manage all tax compliance, including filings and coordination with external tax advisors
  • Oversee expense management systems and ensure accurate cost tracking across departments
  • Support investor and board reporting, including metrics, decks, and fundraising materials
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and vendors; own annual audit and tax prep
