About The Position

Corporate Controller - Manufacturing Role Summary The Corporate Controller is responsible for leading all accounting operations for a multi-entity organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the ongoing effectiveness of internal controls. This role partners closely with executive leadership and finance leadership to support strategic decision-making, financial oversight, and budgeting/forecasting processes. The Corporate Controller will manage and develop the accounting team, including general ledger and accounts payable/receivable functions, while collaborating with FP&A leadership and the CFO to deliver timely, reliable financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
  • 5+ years of close and reporting responsibility in a multi-site organization
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Proven ability to analyze financial and non-financial data and communicate insights effectively across all organizational levels

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly close process for U.S. entities and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Partner with FP&A leadership and the CFO to prepare monthly financial statements, business line reporting, KPI reporting, executive and board presentations, and bank reporting
  • Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and support enterprise risk management
  • Continuously improve costing methodologies and reporting tools in coordination with operations
  • Oversee balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives and operational productivity improvements
  • Analyze and communicate the impact of foreign currency transactions and translations
  • Lead the annual external audit process
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors on property, franchise, state, and partnership tax filings and compliance
  • Support acquisition integration related to financial records, systems, and internal controls
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior leadership
