About The Position
The Controller will play a critical role in managing financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making across construction projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience in construction or related industry
- Strong knowledge of job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting
Nice To Haves
- Experience with construction accounting software (e.g. Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation) preferred
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Manage job costing, WIP reporting, and project financial tracking
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and forecast costs
- Lead audits and coordinate with external accounting partners
- Develop and improve financial processes and reporting systems
