About The Position

America’s Home Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Controller/Business Analyst to oversee all financial operations for two affiliated sister companies. This role requires a strong background in home health and home care, with the ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in navigating the financial complexities of healthcare organizations, particularly within the home health and home care sectors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of financial management experience in home health and home care (required)
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and regulations
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and business analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • CPA or MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial functions for two sister companies, including accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
  • Monitor cash flow, revenue cycle, and overall financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations specific to home health and home care
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth
  • Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and business decisions
  • Oversee billing, reimbursement, and payer mix analysis (Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, etc.)
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies
  • Manage audits and coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed
