Operators are responsible for initiating a response to incidents and documenting their actions accordingly. Such incidents may include duress calls, power outages, medical emergencies, fire alarms, traveler assistance, employee terminations, inclement weather, terrorist activity, etc. These incidents will require the operator to interact with various high-level managers, security personnel, facility engineers and potentially law enforcement personnel. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
