About The Position

Our ACE Controls location in Humble Texas is seeking a talented and experienced Control Panel Wireman to assemble, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and have a strong understanding of electrical control systems and wiring diagrams. You will be working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of electrical control panels for our clients.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Control Panel Wireman or similar electrical technician role.
Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, control systems, and panel design.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Familiarity with electrical tools and equipment.
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and control panel layouts.
Assemble and wire control panels per drawing package.
Install components such as relays, terminals, circuit breakers, and fuses.
Perform electrical testing to verify panel functionality and troubleshoot any wiring issues.
Troubleshoot automation and control systems on-site, including PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and other control components.
Ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Work closely with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines.
Identify and recommend improvements in the wiring process to optimize efficiency and quality.
Document all field service work, including reports, service records, and system updates.
Travel to customer sites as needed to perform hands-on service.
