Requirements
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to read and write and follow directions
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and use test equipment
- Ability to lock out and tag out equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate and service electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to perform a PM on equipment and document properly.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ability to properly document maintenance performed.
- Basic computing skills including opening files, closing files, manipulating windows.
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Participate in the plant safety process
- Lock Out/Tag equipment being worked on
- Understand Electrical and Mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and service electrical and mechanical systems.
- Understand and know how to read schematics and blueprints
- Understand pneumatics and hydraulic systems
- Use of hand and power tools safely
- Maintain documents on various systems
- Perform, document, and keep up with Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain and order spare parts as needed.
