About The Position

Leidos has an immediate opening for a Control Account Management Analyst to support our Universal Stage Adapter (USA) program within Leidos Defense Systems Sector. This exciting role provides direct Earned Value Management (EVM) & project controls contribution to critical areas of the USA program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of program functional relationships and can successfully interface with Program Finance Analysts (PFAs), Program Schedulers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), and Program Managers. This position offers hands on EVM analytical & operational support, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and company policies and procedures, while actively driving the program business rhythm and championing the execution of EVM customer deliverables. The Control Account Management Analyst position will be an integral part of the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE), a team-leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training, and surveillance for Leidos.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 years of prior relevant Aerospace & Defense experience; or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Strong Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Lookups, etc.)
  • Great Interpersonal skills
  • EVM Cost Tool experience (Cobra, OPDEC IPM)
  • Familiarity with the EIA-748 Guidelines.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret clearance in the future if needed. (U.S. Citizenship required)
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in Huntsville Alabama.

Responsibilities

  • Attend Technical Interchange Meetings, Change Control Boards, and other meetings to ensure valid input to the EVM system.
  • Work with CAMs to align technical/functional resources to perform work in accordance with Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
  • Review staffing needs with all CAMs / functional managers across each control account.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly inputs to the EVM Analyst. This includes changes related to Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) status, baseline change requests (BCRs), estimate to complete (ETC) updates, and variance analysis reporting (VAR).
  • Responsible for developing and coordinating corrective action plans with fellow CAMs.
  • Analyze Estimate at Complete (EAC) realism and provide feedback to CAMs.
  • Provide continuous review and analysis of the program performance data at the work package (WP) and control account (CA) level
  • As necessary, provide inputs to the scheduling team on task logic and schedule risk estimates to accomplish schedule risk analysis (SRA) output and associated schedule margin.
  • Review weekly labor reports to validate charging accuracy and adjustments needed to the EAC.
  • Work with CAMs on discussions of scope definition, WBS formation, and the follow-on decomposition of Control Accounts and Work Packages to identify discrete, deliverable-oriented tasking.
  • Work with CAMs to identify the appropriate earning standards or Earned Value Technique (EVT).
  • Where necessary, ensure offline QBD are suitable and maintained in accordance with the Leidos corporate Earned Value Management System Description (EVMSD).
