We are seeking a Contracts Manager in Hanover, MD. This is a hybrid role with 4 days per week onsite and will transition to 3 days per week once situated in role. Job Details: As the Contracts Manager, you will lead all aspects of government contracts management across our product and services portfolios. This role is pivotal to ensuring compliance, managing risk, and enabling growth across programs that support the Department of Defense (DoD), and Intelligence Community (IC)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Fort Meade
  • Proven success leading contracts for both services and product-based contracts
  • Deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, CDRLs, IP/data rights, subcontracting, and compliance requirements
  • Strong experience supporting proposals and working closely with BD and Capture teams
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance required

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in federal contracts management, with direct experience supporting DoD and/or IC customers
  • Experience in a growth-stage company or startup environment
  • NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent)
  • Experience with ITAR and export control regulations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a contracts advisor across the organization, leading cradle-to-grave contract administration
  • Support complex government contracts including IDIQs, OTAs, CPFF, FFP, and T&M
  • Partner with program, legal, finance, and business development teams to shape contract strategy and execution
  • Provide contract guidance on proposals, pricing, negotiations, modifications, and closeouts
  • Interface directly with government contracting officers (to include regular Government on-site visits) and represent Swift on all contract-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements
  • Assist in the implementation of scalable contracts processes that support both emerging products and professional services growth
