About The Position

You will be the Contracts Management Manager for the Contracts Management team. Our team is responsible for delivering contract excellence that powers advanced munitions development, production, and sustainment. What You Will Be Doing As the Contracts Management Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all contract activities that enable the MDMS Program to meet its mission objectives. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts that support advanced munitions development and production. Manage contract modifications, amendments, and extensions to ensure timely delivery. Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing issues proactively. Coordinate with engineering, finance, and program leadership to align contract terms with program goals. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior contract specialists. Requirements

  • Experience with US Government and/or International customers and contracts
  • Experience with contract negotiations
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and documented application of acquisition regulations (FAR & DFARS)
  • Ability to effectively lead a team
  • Focus on developing talent and training staff
  • Proposal preparation experience
  • Generally has 8+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

  • Experience negotiating and managing complex development and production contracts
  • Proven ability to develop trusted partnerships with internal and external customers
  • Cost Type, Fixed Price, and Incentive Fee Contracting Type knowledge
  • Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
  • Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, financing payments, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience working autonomously with general direction
