About The Position

The Contracts Lead II is responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts and new requests to ensure the efficient and effective purchase of goods and services—from purchase to pay. This role focuses on driving business value, optimizing total system cost, improving cycle times, and ensuring on-time delivery. Acting as a senior-level procurement/contracts professional, the Contracts Lead II handles more complex agreements and brings strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills to support the organization’s sourcing and contracting objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Contracts, or Supply Chain in a mid- to large-scale organization.
  • Experience in a Senior Procurement Associate / Specialist / Contracts Manager or similar role.
  • Prior experience managing a portfolio of contracts with moderate to high complexity.
  • Solid knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes.
  • Strong system utilization skills (e.g., ERP/procurement systems) with a focus on efficiency.
  • Understanding of total system cost and cost-reduction levers.
  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of agreements, including new requests, renewals, amendments, and scope changes.
  • Maintain agreements, including scope updates, pricing, Exhibits, and other supporting documentation.
  • Monitor contract compliance, utilization, and supplier performance; troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for business value, cost savings, and efficiency within the contract portfolio.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet business needs while mitigating commercial, legal, and supply risks.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions directly with suppliers.
  • Execute end-to-end PtP processes in full compliance with internal procedures and controls.
  • Leverage procurement tools and systems to ensure transactional efficiency and the most effective procurement methods.
  • Drive total system cost optimization, not just unit price.
  • Apply a strong controls mindset to ensure compliance with internal standards and governance frameworks.
  • Provide fit-for-risk process improvements to streamline procurement and contract management activities.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation in systems and catalogs.
  • Collaborate with Category Management and other cross-functional teams.
  • Share portfolio-specific market intelligence and support implementation of Category strategies and commercial guidance.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships to meet business line expectations.
