LINX is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team in our construction-based business. Requirements

  • 2-5+years of experience in contract administration, preferably in construction or low voltage industry
  • Strong understanding of construction contract types (lump sum, GMP, T&M)
  • Experience with subcontract agreements and vendor contracts
  • Familiarity with lien laws and payment terms (pay-when-paid / pay-if-paid)
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and contract management systems
  • Attention to detail andorganization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Review prime contracts, subcontracts, MSAs, NDAs, and purchase orders for risk, scope alignment, and commercial terms
  • Identify and flag unfavorable provisions (e.g., indemnity, pay-if-paid, liquidated damages, warranty exposure)
  • Redline and help negotiate contract terms with customers, GCs, and subcontractors
  • Ensure flow-down requirements from prime contracts are incorporated into subcontracts
  • Review and sign change orders for projects
  • Communicate with sales, operation and customers about contractual requirements
  • Work closely with accounting on any financial requirements related to contracts
  • Support project kickoff by summarizing key contractual obligations for operations teams
  • Ensure proper execution and storage of all agreements
  • Assist with lien rights, releases, and payment protections
  • Prepare and issue subcontracts
