Please watch this video to learn more about ADS Inc! http://bit.ly/ADS_Mission RESPONSIBILITIES Distribute all RFQ's from DLA to the appropriate ADS Sales Rep Maintain TLS Bid log of all open, closed, awarded bids Work with the ADS Sales team Have working knowledge and understanding of the Berry Amendment, Buy American Act and Trade Agreement Act Day-to-day contract administration duties Answer DLA inquiries for expedited shipping, order status, and tracking Obtain pricing information requested by DLA from the Sales Rep Verify compliancy documentation is on file for items on RFQ's Assist TLS Contract Manager in responding to all Bidwiser/ RFQ requests from DLA by the required deadline Stay current with TLS and commercial procurement changes Be the in house expert on the scope of items allowed through TLS and current regulations on proving prices fair and reasonable Coordinate VSM shipments with DDC Maintain database of all shipments coordinated through VSM Complete drop-ship request forms Establish strong working relationships with DDC and DLA contracting officers and contract specialists Assist accounting to resolve any payment or billing issues and assist with delinquent reports from DLA Facilitate the addition of new items to the approved catalog/ core list Assist with maintenance of TLS catalog with current pricing across the organization Assist in training new sales personnel regarding the TLS Contract MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree required 2-3 years’ experience in Government contracts 2-3 years’ experience in Microsoft Office environment: Outlook, Excel and Word STRONG detail orientation Strong written and verbal communication skills for negotiating with DLA Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines Working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR and government contracting methods and terminology highly desired Please note: ADS may be subject to mandatory employment-related COVID-19 vaccination requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Government contracts
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Microsoft Office environment: Outlook, Excel and Word
  • STRONG detail orientation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for negotiating with DLA

Responsibilities

  • Distribute all RFQ's from DLA to the appropriate ADS Sales Rep
  • Maintain TLS Bid log of all open, closed, awarded bids
  • Work with the ADS Sales team
