About The Position

Cimarron and Amentum are seeking a senior-level Contracts Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the IRES (Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Key Duties : Serve as a key business advisor and contracts authority supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s IRES contract on-site in Colorado Springs. Support the Contracts Management Lead in daily contract administration and compliance activities. Create and maintain processes for pre-final billing, contract modifications, limitation of funds notifications, and related controls. Draft and review contractual documents including Limitation of Funds notices, memorandums, Requests for Equitable Adjustment, and change notifications. Audit proposal documentation including Basis of Estimate, Bills of Material, and cost proposals for accuracy and compliance. Ensure contract and proposal deliverables meet timelines and requirements across the base contract and task orders. Review proposals for compliance with RFP instructions and contract requirements. Track, report, and resolve funding overages and cost variances across task orders. Maintain funding trackers, contract briefs, and required data records. Support task order teams in identifying and resolving contractual issues with the Government. Lead contract discussions and serve as primary interface with the Procuring Contracting Officer. Support negotiations and coordinate with internal stakeholders including program leadership and finance teams. Provide guidance and training to junior contracts staff. Advise task order leadership on contract type, risk management, and performance metrics. Brief senior leadership on contract status and issues affecting financial or technical performance.

Requirements

  • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire.   • Ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
  • 6 or more years of directly related experience in one or more of the following areas: Contract Administration, Proposal Development, Finance, Business Administration, Acquisition, Procurement
  • Experience and familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
