The Contract Administrator manages the bidding process for new and recurring contracts. This position works closely with multiple project managers to facilitate, manage and develop bid proposals and manage the performance of the construction contracting process. Duties and Responsibilities: · Work on bid and estimating generation, issuance, performance and purchase orders. · Pursues RFP development and issuance, source selection, negotiations and execution of bid and estimating terms for services. · Prepare detailed cost proposals that respond to customer requirements. · Actively coordinate and support purchasing activities. Obtain material prices, availability and compare quotations. Execute, track and document sourcing efforts resulting in cost benefits. · Draft or prepare written documentation and spreadsheets pertaining to bidding and estimating process. Responsible for data integrity of contract database. · Inquire with multiple departments at all levels to obtain information necessary for bid submissions Essential Education and Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED required · Must possess strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail. · Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, executives and customers · Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. · Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel. Preferred Skills: · Knowledge and experience in the construction industry. · Prior experience in reviewing and processing contracts. · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
