What Does an Inside/ Contractor Sales Specialist Do? Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including with contractors, by projecting a customer-focused image and providing exceptional service Provide technical guidance to customers in their purchasing decisions Communicate with customers via phone and email to answer questions and process orders Share accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information to facilitate sales Prepare bids and estimates for jobs, and accurately input orders into the system Apply knowledge of contractor and construction needs to support customer projects effectively Communicate regularly with vendors and customers to coordinate pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines Assist with accounts receivable collections and order processing Perform other tasks as assigned What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Contractor Sales / Inside Sales Specialist? High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in business preferred) Previous inside sales experience, ideally in construction or building materials Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive customer relationships Solid organizational skills to manage customer accounts and sales leads effectively Ability to drive to jobsites for measurements (doors, windows, roofs, etc.) Valid Driver's License Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to step in and contribute where needed Knowledge of special-order doors, windows, and building materials (preferred) Physical ability to occasionally lift 50+ lbs Results-driven approach with a commitment to serving stores with humility and upholding Nation’s Best values Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while staying adaptable and flexible Dedication to consistently providing outstanding customer service Position Details: Full - Time 7am or 8am - 5pm or 5:30pm Every other weekend What’s It Like To Work for Nation’s Best?
