About The Position

Reporting to the Vice President Information Technology, and embedded within a performing organization as a dedicated Project Manager, this role will lead the full lifecycle implementation of the Oracle ERP platform across the enterprise. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering a large-scale digital transformation initiative that integrates finance, supply chain, procurement, HR, and project management functions into a unified Oracle environment. This role will lead a diverse cross-functional team to advance the implementation thru various stages, including up to full release and implementation, along with planning for future phases of ERP expansion. Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure delivery of project deliverables to meet project requirements and deliver value while achieving cost, schedule, quality and other specified targets and objectives, the successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, internal project-focused work environment, with the ability to quickly acclimate to new teams, project structures, and organizational priorities, while interfacing effectively with 3rd party software providers and implementation teams. The ideal candidate brings strong ERP implementation experience, deep understanding of enterprise business processes, and proven success leading cross-functional teams through complex system transformations.

Requirements

  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor of Business, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years’ full-time experience in project management, including at least one full-cycle ERP implementation.
  • Demonstrated application of Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge principles and processes. (required)
  • Direct experience implementing Oracle ERP (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP or E-Business Suite). (required)
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional enterprise initiatives ($5M+ preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI/PMP, Agile, or hybrid). (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and system integrators.
  • Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810. Needs to have a strong understanding of information and cyber security as it relates to a company in a heavily regulated space.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification program completion.
  • Experience with global or multi-site ERP rollouts.
  • Experience with financial systems transformation and SOX-controlled environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall planning and execution of project activities for the ERP implementation project.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle ERP (planning through post-go-live stabilization).
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies.
  • Establish governance structure, steering committee cadence, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Drive executive-level communication and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage system integrators, Oracle consultants, and third-party vendors.
  • Oversee Statement of Work (SOW) compliance and performance metrics.
  • Ensure alignment between technical configuration and business requirements.
  • Partner with functional leaders (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, IT, Operations) to design future-state processes.
  • Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution validation workshops.
  • Ensure configuration aligns with best practices and minimizes customization.
  • Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead enterprise change management efforts, including communication, training, and user adoption strategies.
  • Coordinate data migration, testing (SIT, UAT), and cutover planning.
  • Manage implementation budget and financial tracking.
  • Develop KPIs to measure program success and ROI.
  • Report program health and milestone status to executive leadership.
  • Maintain a standard of high quality and timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
